Lightning strike, clap of thunder send Twins and Rangers fleeing

  • Print

A vicious and blinding lightning strike followed by a sonic boom of a thunder clap made players for the Texas Rangers and Minnesota Twins scurry like ants Sunday evening. The video is both scary and hysterical at the same time.

After the game, Rangers first baseman Michael Young said: "Josh Willingham (who was on first base) hit the deck. I turned around and he was doing a dirt angel on the floor. Their first base coach (Jerry White) was going bananas and hid behind the umpire."

CLICK HERE to see the video. I recommend watching with the sound on and off. The players reaction looks really funny with the sound off.
