The recent injury to Milwaukee Brewers catcher Jonathan Lucroy caused me to take a walk down memory lane to research some of the more memorable bizarre baseball injuries. Players miss games for a variety of reasons, but the link below is a nice summation of some of the more comical reasons of all-time.
For those keeping score at home, Lucroy broke a bone in his right hand after his wife's suitcase shifted and fell off the bed and on his hand. Lucroy was on the ground at the time looking for a sock.
