It didn't take long for newly acquired Bucks guard Monta Ellis to make an impact on the floor. Ellis scored 18 points in his Bucks debut -- a 120-98 victory over the Golden State Warriors on Friday.
It also didn't take long for Ellis to reach out to the people of the greater Milwaukee area with a personal touch. Ellis took out a 1/4 page ad in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel introducing himself, and thanking fans and the organization for welcoming him to Milwaukee.

Ellis, and forward Ekpe Udoh were acquired by the Bucks last week in a trade that sent center Andrew Bogut and forward Stephen Jackson to Golden State.
