Happy 35th birthday to future hall of fame wide receiver Randy Moss. Topping his birthday wish list this year is a return trip to the NFL. Moss retired with little fanfare last August as the league was still sorting through details of an ugly lockout.
Once the lockout was lifted, Moss' retirement became an after thought as teams scrambled to assemble their rosters.
Now, Moss is telling those who will listen that he wants to play next season.
"I wanna play football," Moss said on UStream on Monday morning. "Your boy is going to come back here and play some football, so I'm really excited. I had some things I had to adjust in my life."
Not sure if one of those "adjustments" was an attitude adjustment, but, if he's of right mind, might he have another year or two left in the tank?
