By March 1st, 2012, spring training operations in Arizona and Florida will be in full swing. One of the free agent prizes this off-season was short stop Jose Reyes. The Miami Marlins won the bidding, but you may not recognize last years National League batting title winner at spring training.
Reyes had his dreadlocks chopped and is selling them on EBay.
As of 3:55pm CST on February 6th, The bidding is up to nearly $6,000 and closes on February 8th. No, Reyes is not being greedy - quite the opposite as a matter of fact - 100% of the proceeds will go to The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Florida.
