You've heard of planking, but how about Tebowing?

  • Print

It's time for "planking" and the "Douggie" to take a backseat. If you want to roll with the "it" crowd and stay up on current trends, you need to start "Tebowing".

Tebowing (named after Denver Broncos QB Tim Tebow) is the art of dropping down on a knee and praying, even if everyone else around is doing something completely different.

Denver native Jared Kleinstein popularized the concept of Tebowing this week. He was watching the Broncos game Sunday with five high-school friends when Tebow led an unlikely comeback over the Dolphins.

While the Broncos sideline erupted with joy when Matt Prater connected on a 52 yard field goal to win the game, Tebow was found on one knee, praying.

Kleinstein convinced his friends to photograph themselves posing like Tebow and he posted the picture on Facebook. Seeking greater attention, he bought the domain name Tebowing.com. A few days later, the site has over 200,000 views.
