If you're ever in need of some outside-the-box thinking when it comes to your consumption of sports, might I suggest the Wall St. Journal? They have an underrated sports section that often times explores thought provoking avenues.
I found this story on the site this morning and thought I would share it with you - mainly I wanted to put the WSJ on your radar for sports stories.
Teams that start the NFL season 3-0 have a strong chance to make the playoffs. Both the Detroit Lions and Buffalo Bills have joined the Packers as 3-0 teams thus far (the Washington Redskins are 2-0 heading into their Monday night matchup against the Dallas Cowboys). While I'm certainly not penciling the Lions and Bills in for Super Bowl 46, they could both be playoff teams, and as we know, anything can happen in the NFL's second season.
