After throwing for 517 yards in week one against the Miami Dolphins, Tom Brady has been on cloud-9 in regards to his Patriots.
This weekend, the Pats have a key AFC battle with the San Diego Chargers. Luckily for New England, the game will be played in Foxboro. It's a late afternoon start meaning fans will have plenty of time to "gear up" for the game in a manner of their choosing, or, as Brady put it so eloquently,
"Start drinking early. Get nice and rowdy. It's a 4:15 game (3:15CST). There's lots of time to get lubed up."
As one might imagine, Brady's comments caused a bit of a PR headache for the media relations staff who stepped in to play damage control.
Patriots Media Relations Director, Stacey James said Brady was not suggesting that fans get bombed before heading into the stadium, but rather to "stay hydrated, drink a lot of water, be loud, drink responsibly."
