I was wondering what sort of hijinks would come out of Cleveland following the Miami Heat's loss to the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA finals. To say many Cavaliers fans remain bitter about the over-hyped departure of Lebron James is like saying Bill Walton kinda likes the Grateful Dead.
I wasn't sure if there would be billboard space purchased in Miami by the Cavaliers congratulating Dallas, or if there would be parade for the Mavericks in Cleveland. Either idea would be a nice jab at the man responsible for resurrecting the Cavaliers franchise, and then driving it back into the ground after his departure.
The end result...or perhaps just the first stab, came from the Governor of Ohio, who has decided to make the members of the Dallas Mavericks, honorary Ohioans.
