I have always steered clear of picking up hitchhikers. I've had dreams where I've picked one up - it was a bizzare dream where instead of speaking, I communicated with a series of animal noises. I guess the goal was to reverse the trend. Instad of being afraid of the random person, I was going to do my best to freak him out. Sure enough, baaa-ing like a sheep did it. I digress.
Before reading this story (link below) the chance of me picking up a hitchhiker was 0%. After reading the story, that percentage has grown to 1%.
After all, you never know when a hitchhiker could be the lead man in one of the greatest rock bands of all time.
