Former Wisconsin Badger OT Gabe Carimi is soaking up his early moments as a first round draft choice of the Chicago Bears. Even though I hated to see a Badger drafted by a Chicago team, I think he's in a great situation in Chicago as he embodies the blue collar mentality of many Bears fans.
Carimi is also loving the attention drawn to the nickname that has surfaced among the windy city faithful. In less than a month since being drafted, the 2010 Outland Trophy winner is being called the "Bear Jew" (Note: this is not to be confused with former Packers safety Bhawoh Jue).
