Will Comedy Central's John Oliver pay up?

  • Print

$10,000 is a lot of money, even for a Comedy Central fill-in host.

Interim "Daily Show" anchorman John Oliver may have to dig deep after promising that amount of cash to anyone who got him video of CNN host Piers Morgan falling off a Segway.

It was Morgan who brought the incident to light a few nights ago during a discussion about marijuana, saying the high he got from grass was nothing compared to the one he got from the meds he took after taking his tumble, one that left him with busted ribs and other fairly serious injuries.

Oliver brought the CNN pot chat up the next night, adding the plea for the video of Morgan's spill.  Morgan himself showed it Tuesday night, adding that he expects Oliver to pay up by the end of business today.

Others apparently beat Morgan to it on the web, so the question doesn't seem to be IF Oliver is going to have to pay, but rather WHO.
