Big doin's in the H-C Saturday night--how you can help a local Olympic bronze medalist achieve another goal
Hales Corners is gonna be rockin' Saturday night. Well, it ALWAYS rocks on Saturday night, but even more so on the 23rd.
That's when we'll be raising funds for the Alyson Dudek International Ice Center that backers want to open by the end of the year. They're talking about a lot more than just a flooded patch of grass in a local park--it's going to be an Olympic-sized sheet that'll be available for open skating as well as organized events (click on the link to see for yourself).
About that rockin' part: join us Saturday from 6-9 p.m. at Finn McGuire's on Highway 100 near Edgarton (you can't miss it--it glows bright green) to find out more about the project and to contribute to the cause. Low-key, no pressure, good fun and brushes with greatness including Lance Allan of Today's TMJ4 and Journal/Sentinel sports reporter Gary D'Amato. And, Aly's dad Rob assures us he can shame his daughter into speaking.
Join us Saturday night from 6-9 at Finn McGuire's in Hales Corners. Let's make this happen.
