All I know about NASCAR is that they drive fast, turn left and kinda make up the game as the season goes along.
Then came Sunday.
A respected, four-time champion puts a another driver into a wall. A brawl busts out afterward between rival crews.
I don't know if I'm attracted, or repulsed. I certainly am fascinated.
Read what Journal/Sentinel racing beat writer Dave Kallman had to say (and even if he wasn't a bud, I'd still say he's one of the best writers the paper ever had) and see for yourself what transpired Sunday in Phoenix, as well as the reaction.
Just one race left this season, huh?
