I want to watch this show...just to see how wretched it really was
I couldn't find Oprah Winfrey's cable channel with a bag full of TV Guides and a GPS.
The "O" doesn't speak to me, the way she does to some who hang on her every word, buy every product she suggests, watch every show she's laid a hand upon or read every page of her magazine.
But there's one thing I wish I would've caught on OWN: Rosie O'Donnell's freshly canceled talk show. Not because it was so good...but only because it sounds as though it was so incredibly awful.
It's too late for that--the plug is pulled as Oprah lays off workers amid word her cable venture lost some $143 million--but you can read about how the whole Rosie thing came apart.
And, it's good stuff, in a how-do-smart-people-make-so-many-bad-decisions way.
