Man does not live on night fish fries alone.
The 47th annual Xaverian Mission Banquet happens Friday night at Milwaukee's Italian Community Center, starting at six p.m. I have a small speaking part, but don't let that keep you from coming. There are silent and live auctions, great food, and a chance to hear about the Xaverian missions around the world. Plus, there's Father Dominic--one of the area's true great resources and probably one of it's most intense Green Bay Packers fans. If you're lucky, he might be auctioning off a rare jar of his homemade tomato sauce. It's so good, it's used as currency in some parts of the world.
I know times are hard and money is tight, but we'd sure like to see you if you can make it Friday night.
