Numbers Make My Head Hurt
...but they do provide some insight as to who might win the Wisconsin race for governor two months from now.
The University of Minnesota crunched the numbers going back to 1914 and found that Tom Barrett's road to Madison may very well rest on what, if any, coattails incumbent Senator Russ Feingold brings to the party.
Feingold is in a tough re-election fight with Republican Ron Johnson and the Minnesota research shows that, as Feingold goes, so will Barrett. Feingold is trailing in the most recent non-partisan polls.
