For those of us of a certain age, Bo Jackson was the most dominant athlete in world history. Not in real life, where a bum hip ended his baseball and football careers far too soon, but in Nintendo's Tecmo Bowl, where he was at least twice as fast as any other player in the game. He was about as unstoppable a force as video games have ever seen, especially with this just-released dominance of Super Mario Bros. from RantSports.com:

The Minnesota Vikings have released longtime Packers kicker Ryan Longwell in a move that can't really be considered too surprising since they drafted a kicker in the sixth round of last month's NFL Draft. Stil, it's sad to see one of my favorite Packers from the early 2000's suddenly looking for work. As always, Longwell was classy in his exit, tweeting this out today:
