How things change: Mitt Romney is being cast as the "moderate," or even the RINO in this year's presidential race. But four years ago, National Review, founded by conservative icon William F. Buckley, jr. and still arguably the most influential conservative magazine in the country, endorsed him as the conservative candidate in the race. Via Hotair: AFL-CIO boss Richard Trumka uses the occasion of the 9/11 anniversary to lash out at just about everybody he hates. After all, "on this darkest of anniversaries it’s only natural for one’s thoughts to turn to America’s mortal enemy, a group that’s caused so much sorrow and suffering in pursuit of its fanatic agenda. By which I mean, of course, the “extremist small government posse.”
