  2. I really like Rep. Paul Ryan but I have a problem with his income tax proposal. So if I make $100K I net $90K but if I make $100,001 I only net $75,001. That is quite a cut in income for an additional dollar. Maybe I am missing something or George Will tried to make it easier to understand. But as written this is quite a disincentive for additional income. A simpler tax code is definitely needed and soon.
  3. Hi John, it's still a "progressive" tax system. So you would net $90k on $100k, and $90,000.75 on $100,001 (90% on $100k 75% of $1). AKA - the tax is 10% up until $100k, and then 25% every dollar thereafter.
