    India just annouced it's 2020 target to reduce emissions by 20-25%. You don't even have to believe in Global Warming to understand that being PRO POLUTION is just plain ignorant. Also China announced a 40-45 percent cut in its emissions by 2020 compared to 2005. We need to start leading in this world again. Not buisiness as usual, that's how the voters spoke to elect Obama in the first place. A rejection of the bush policies and ideaology. Sorry Charlie Sykes....

    A responsible cutting of pollution is a positive, but basing $$$ trillions in spending to cut pollution is just irresponsible.

    India and China can “announce” anything they want to happen in 2020, SO WHAT. I am announcing right here and now that I am planning to rip a huge fart in the next 20 minutes; will it actually happen, WHO KNOWS. You just need to look at the L.A. basin to understand that the US can (and has) done a better job at cleaning up its air than any other country on earth and the key word is L.A. “basin;” that mountain range around a city that stagnates the air, that’s the additional problem LA had.
