Clark Howard is a leading consumer advocate and host of "The Clark Howard Show." American business is riding a euphoric high, but with good times come the bad, specifically unscrupulous souls who prey upon unwitting consumers and are looking for an opening to bilk, swindle or entrap. Howard knows who they are and what they can do to honest, hard-working citizens.
These numbers are a direct result of the choking of education funding from No Child Left Behind (bush). When there is little education investment, it results in less government revenue
That's one of the more ignorant "talking point" comments I've seen in awhile. Choking of education funding? NCLB was an enormous expansion of education funding - by far the largest infusion of funding into local education by the federal government in history. The bill was authored by Ted Kennedy! Bush wanted more strings attached - more performance based funding. Kennedy & the democrats wanted more funding, so they compromised & did both.
This is must be why we are now going to have a new Obama dog & pony show about our debt. It is scary the way they spending even he knows he has to pretend to do something during an election year. Only someone as BRAINWASHED as 4liberty could connect this to underfunding(?) of education.
4Liberty, The $24.4 billion added to education in 2001 was a 41% increase over the previous year. If that's choking education, then you must be a product of government school math curriculum. How's that hopenchange working out for you?
