One of the most prolific local liberal  bloggers is named Chris Liebenthal, who is also one of the most rabid critics of County Executive Scott Walker.

He is the chairman the anti-Walker group, Milwaukee County First. He publishes on several lefty websites under the name 'capper."

Liebenthal describes himself as: "social worker with Milwaukee County. In my free time (like I have much), I am also the Chair of Milwaukee County First, the PEOPLE Chair for Local 645, BNN's WI Editor, and belong to various community organizing groups."

After Sarah Palin's visit on Friday he posted this on his website:

The one thing that bugged me was from the paper's coverage:

"Palin spoke movingly of her youngest son, Trig, who has Down syndrome.

"She recalled that when she was pregnant, she underwent an ultrasound and the technician told her, "I see boy parts."Later, the technician told her that the baby's neck "is a little bit thicker," an indication that there might be an extra chromosome. A few days later, Down syndrome was confirmed.

"I was scared," Palin said, adding that she asked her husband, Todd, "Why us?" He responded, "Why not?"

Why us? Gee, Sarah, do you think that you had the baby at the age of 44 years old and have admitted to smoking marijuana, both of each alone can lead to birth defects, could have had something to do with it?

Is she that arrogant that she thinks she is immune to the laws of nature, or just that dumb. Thank goodness she'll never be in an office of power.

Sick and despicable, but unfortunately increasingly typical of compassionate tolerant liberal rhetoric. OK, I get that you hate Sarah Palin and most conservatives; I get that you think that your political opponents need to be destroyed, that you think conservatives are all liars, hypocrites, and bigots.

But the mockery of a woman's decision to give birth to a special needs kid????

Have you no shame at all?

**\UPDATE:

Yeah, that's Chris Liebenthal in the paper this morning:

Not quite the same picture he uses on his website:

  1. I have read his hate filled slop before. If he was a social worker for one of my clients, I would do my best to remove him from my client's case. I think his writings evidence a bias against life and against those people who have special needs children. I really question his "objectivity" in anything connected with his case load.
  2. Just another misogynistic liberal man. An angry one at that.
  3. I am sure 'capper' supports legalizing marijuana.
  4. I thought those hollywood types considered giving birth while in your forties was liberating? I am Woman....
