YOU DON'T HAVE TO READ THE PALIN HIT JOB

... because Jim Geraghty does the dirty work for you.

To go through the 9,800 word profile/excoriation of Sarah Palin by Todd Purdum in Vanity Fair and Fisk it line by line would take an enormous amount of time and space, and probably more time than you’re willing to devote to reading it. So for now, the low-lights:

"Whatever her political future, the emergence of Sarah Palin raises questions that will not soon go away. “What does it say about the nature of modern American politics that a public official who often seems proud of what she does not know is not only accepted but applauded?”

I’m still looking for any quote from Palin at any time where she expressed pride in what she does not know....

  1. I politics is an etch a sketch, Obama turns the knobs trying to be important. Sara being governor, would shake it clear.
  2. Overall Geraghty is right, of course. One interesting point is "Palin may run for president in 2012, which could very well be a mistake." Reserve judgment on this. I hope it ends up not the case, but the left uses these tactics because they work.
  3. It’s amazing that the Democrats are still picking on a vice-presidential nominee who lost — 8 months after they lost? They’re picking on Sarah because they are afraid of her and what kind of base she can pick up.
  4. If Palin runs you guys lose again. I'll take any bet from you cons that she won't win the nomination nor win a presidential election if she runs. If the Rs run her only supports how out of touch you guys are.
