Scott Walker Vindicated
MILWAUKEE - TODAY'S TMJ4's Charles Benson reports that no new charges will come against Governor Scott Walker from a now-completed John Doe investigation.
On Friday morning, Governor Walker issued the following statement in response to the news:
"I am glad the process has been completed. As many may remember, this entire matter began when we asked the District Attorney to look into concerns we had with respect to Operation Freedom. We appreciate the effort that was undertaken and to bring appropriate matters to justice."
On Newsradio 620 WTMJ with Charlie Sykes, President of the Wisconsin Institute of Law and Liberty (WILL) reacted to the news that the John Doe investigation was closed by saying, "Scott Walker is certifiably not guilty."
"The news today confirms what we already knew. Nothing was going to come out of this," said Esenberg.
