RightWisconsin Exclusive: GAB Ignores State Law By Collin Roth
A Wisconsin Government Accountability Board official confirmed to RightWisconsin that the agency charged with overseeing elections ignored state law and failed to purge invalid registrations off the statewide poll list in time for the April 2, Spring Election.
According to GAB Spokesman Reid Magney "the GAB’s required four-year list maintenance is going to be starting in mid-April, when people on the list who have not voted in the past four years will be receiving a postcard notification."
EPA data uncovered by Media Trackers shows that the facility continues to be out of compliance with Clean Water Act limits on pollutant discharges into the Bad River. At times, E. coli levels exceeded 5,400% of what is allowable and phosphate levels were 3 to 5 times what they should have been according to EPA permits. E. coli is a bacteria that comes from human or animal waste or biomass. According to an EPA study, the presence of E. coli "in drinking water is a strong indication of recent sewage or animal waste contamination."

Milwaukee, WI – Today, the Wisconsin Institution of Law and Liberty ("WILL") sent a letter to the Milwaukee Area Technical College District Board reminding them that there is no "window" for local governments to ignore Act 10.
Unions and government entities that negotiate contracts with terms that violate Act 10 run the risk of having those contracts declared unlawful.
