TEN PEOPLE YOU'VE PROBABLY NEVER HEARD OF...
...but who could be governor someday.
The new edition of Wisconsin Interest, published today, profiles ten rising stars of the legislative class of 2010, including an unusually potent mix of business executives, practicing doctors, accountants, a Bronze Star winner and a few other newcomers who could one day sit in the U.S. Senate or reside in the Wisconsin governor’s mansion.
The story written by Wisconsin Interest Editor Charlie Sykes and based on interviews with Capitol insiders and observers focuses primarily on the conservative side of the aisle.
Sykes finds, among others, a “notorious workaholic” and former top business executive, a graduate of the renowned Mayo Medical School in Minnesota, a young CPA who might be a little too cocky and an old hand – a Democrat – who has been in, and out, of Wisconsin politics for 40 years.
