Does Sly's latest apology cover it for you? He issued this release late Wednesday.
Today I sent a letter to Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch apologizing for myinappropriate comments on Monday morning’s program.
Although I do not share Lt. Governor Kleefisch’s political philosophy, Iknow how difficult it is for women to compete in the political arena and tobe recognized for their achievements.
I offer Lt. Governor. Kleefisch and her family my most sincere apology. Ihave tremendous respect for women who devote their time and careers topublic service whether I share their views or not. I regret that mycomments did not reflect that.
Sincerely,
John ‘Sly’ Sylvester

Rebecca Kleefisch told me late yesterday she hadn't yet received the letter.
Will it be enough? A lot will be determined by Kleefisch's response.
Flashback: Mark Belling's apology wasn not enough to appease the people who wanted Belling's head. Makes for interesting read... and side by comparisons of media coverage, reaction and non-reaction.
