Local lefty blogger (and county employee) Chris Liebenthal. anxious, to smear the hated GOP with the Arizona murders, posted a claim that killer Jared Lougher was a registered Republican... complete with an alleged screen capture from the Arizona Secretary of state's office.

It was a fraud. The screen shot is bogus. Loughner is an "independent," who did not vote last November.

Capper (as he calls himself)  has retracted the obvious fraud (the screen cap misspells Tucson) but his willingness to go with the fake smear speaks volumes.... He really, really wanted it to be true.

Arizona Gunman Was Registered Republican?

 
Jared Loughner, the crazed gunman who shot U.S. Representative Gabrielle Giffords (D-AZ), as well as 18 other people, killing six of them, was apparently a registered Republican:

BTW, Liebenthal actually lamented the decision to change the Bullet Train Into Scott walker's Head bumper sticker. version 2 was apparently not violent enough,.

 

"It definitely loses some of its impact with the change. Instead of clearly showing that it was Walker who was responsible for the lost revenue and the lost jobs, it makes it look like the train was his brainchild and that he failed to get it done."
