Libby was born in Indiana but fell in love with Milwaukee in 2005 when she met her husband, Tony (a Marquette High and Marquette U grad). She’s reluctant to admit which won her heart first, but says the moment they went for a walk in Elm Grove, she knew she was home. While in high school, she won a National Forensics League Award for radio and decided to pursue a career in broadcasting.
Hearing a local radio station was looking for a part-time receptionist, Libby applied, convincing management to put her on the air a few days after she was hired.

Before joining Newsradio 620 WTMJ in 2010, she worked at numerous Chicagoland radio stations as a talk show host and program director, receiving Illinois Broadcasters Association Silver Dome Awards for Radio Station of the Year, Radio Station Website and as a finalist for Best Radio Personality. Libby has also worked in television, producing and co-hosting a program on WCIU-TV in Chicago and appearing as a Chicago Correspondent for Catherine Crier’s Court TV show.
In addition to Libby’s endless pursuit of visiting every location she reads about in Milwaukee Magazine, she enjoys gardening, working-out (although she only runs if someone is chasing her) and attending concerts by Milwaukee Beatles Tribute band “The Britins.”
