Did you know?
Jodi’s family says she stunted her younger brother’s speech by talking for him when they were little. Guess she picked the right career path.
Jodi's radio career started at WAYY/WAXX radio in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. She has also spent time as an anchor and reporter at WISN radio in Milwaukee. In 2005, Jodi was called to warmer weather, beaches and the sometimes utter fiascoes of the news cycle in Los Angeles. She worked at the largest News/Talk station in the country, KFI, for nearly 5-years. Eventually family, a husband and the Midwest called her back and she was lucky enough to land safely in the WTMJ newsroom.
Jodi has won awards from the Associated Press, RTNA, RTDNA including a Regional Murrow, the Society of Professional Journalists, the Hearst Foundation, the Wisconsin Broadcaster’s Association and The Milwaukee Press Club. Her greatest joy as a news person has been covering Wisconsin war veterans participating in Honor Flight.
